Examples of What We Do

Apsara Kunda and Navala Kunda

We have expanded out into areas of Govardhana! Here we have just started cleaning at Apsara Kunda and Navala Kunda. The state of filth we found them in was just too much to bear, so we have decided to start cleaning here. But we need help! See here a couple of examples of the trash accumilation. Gopi Kupa

Gopi kupa is a well where the tongue (Jihva) of Govardhana was found. The tongue is now installed at Jihva Mandir. More about this story can be found on the Jihva Mandir page (see below). Now a place of worship and where some choose to have their samadhis put, Gopi Kupa requires daily cleaning.

Sakhi Kunda

At Sakhi kunda we maintain daily cleaning, but first we renovated the area and planted a garden. For a while the water was untoucahble as it was constantly filling with sewage runoff. Now Sakhi Kunda is clean enough for the locals to swim in, and there’s a garden safe from the pesky monkeys.
